The entire central area of Jamaica is without electric current – and cell phone signal is intermittent but communication is happening with sometimes hours/days between contact is made from our overseas base.

Lisa Brady, MBA, is a business strategist, pre-law graduate, and former banking professional with experience in financial management and humanitarian logistics.
She is currently seeking safey in the Republic of Ireland while leading direct relief distribution for women and families affected by Hurricane Melissa while working to rebuild/replace her own home in Accompong Town. Along side Lisa are her two youngest children, a boy and a girl, ages 10 and 11, who are homeschooled across nations.
Transparency and accountability are central to this effort — every donation is tracked, documented, and reported as relief continues.

Progress Updates
Relief efforts now extend across St. Elizabeth, St. Ann, and St. James Parishes.
✅ Barrels Shipped
Rented a box truck in Florida, packed and palletized barrels of essential goods — rice, oats, canned meats, vitamin mixes for infants, diapers, cooking oil, and jerk seasoning. Shipment departs Tuesday from Miami and is expected to arrive in Jamaica by Friday.
✅ Generator Purchase
Secured a generator through a local partner, Rasta, who is actively engaged in rescue and road-clearing operations. Funds transferred for purchase and delivery coordination underway.
🕊️ Communication Restored
Starlink satellite internet activated under an international plan for shared community use in Accompong Town to reconnect families and enable emergency coordination.
🚗 Fuel & Local Aid Distributed
Cash assistance provided to local men and women organizing food deliveries and fuel transport, ensuring vehicles can reach isolated communities.

Emergency funds sent to trusted families.
